Rev Gill McBride

I'm Gill, the Minister of Queens Hall, Spencer Road and The Vale Churches Churches and Superintendent of the circuit.

I am originally from Cullercoats – a small fishing village on the North East coast (about 10 miles from Newcastle). I went to Durham University to study Maths and came out with a theology degree! I then spent time as a Health Care Assistant in the Freeman Hospital and as a Youth and Children's worker in the Methodist Church in Ponteland (not far from Newcastle Airport) before training for ministry at Wesley Study Centre in Durham. I Finished training in 2008 and was ordained in 2010

After having lived most of my life in the north east and spending 11 years ministering in the Newcastle District at East Durham Circuit (2008-20014) and Lindisfarne Circuit(2014-2019).

I moved "down south" to Leyland in 2019. My hobbies include walking our crazy dog, crafts of all sorts, building IKEA furniture and following Formula 1. I have also been known to follow a certain black and white football team!
