What we believe. We are a Bible believing Church. We believe in God who exists in 3 persons – God the Father, God the Son – as Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. God created the Heavens and the Earth out of nothing, and He demonstrates His love for us by His mercy, compassion, and justice. He is working out His plan for the salvation of mankind because the first man (Adam) sinned by disobeying God. Jesus Christ is the son of God and came to this world to save us from our sin. He was born of a virgin birth, lived a perfectly sinless life and died a cruel death on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins. On the third day, He rose again from the dead and His disciples met with Him and talked to Him. He later ascended again to Heaven and awaits the day when He will judge us all.

Mission has always been at the heart of Queens Hall. As a town centre church, we have people popping in and out every day. A large part of our mission is our Sanctuary Café, which is a fantastic meeting place for people of all ages. We get groups of friends arranging to meet regularly, people who just want a quiet space to read in the warmth and escape from the busy-ness for a short while and people who are lonely and looking for a friendly face and a chat. We have people from our prayer team who come in just to pray and chat with people, and this is a very rewarding side to what we do.

Our strategy is simple – To engage as many people as we can with the Gospel, through our Cafe, Bible studies, prayer group, weekly services, childrens' and young peoples' outreach. We try to meet people where they are at, and our caring and compassion is well known throughout Wigan.
